Possible sequel in early planning phase


Dog game is finished, I've learned a lot about using godot and general game design from making this project and watching others play it.


Everything in this game was made out of basic meshes built into godot, except for the dog which was made in paint 3D, a program that is exactly what it sounds like. MS paint, but with super basic 3d.

I did this because I didn't want to learn two complex tools at once, but for the next game I intend to use a much more advanced program called "blender". I'm already pretty far along in the first tutorial! just look at the donut render! I did that!


Dog game 2, if completed, will be a platformer collectathon inspired by popular N64 titles of the genre such as Banjo-Kazooie, DK64 and SM64. My game probably wouldn't end up AS good as these classics but they're good varied examples of the genre I'll be going for.

I got big ideas, but it might be too ambitious for my second game in the engine. wish me luck!

Also I'll probably have my bank account set up properly by the time it's finished so I'll actually be able to accept donations through itch from generous people who enjoy the game!
